Marketing a Commercial Real Estate property is very different from marketing any other product. The ticket size of the sale is very large, and so are the number of stakeholders involved in the decision-making process. There are also situations when companies are looking for offices in overseas locations. Hence, the entire marketing funnel should be designed keeping in mind all these situations. Certain effective medium and tools to market the CRE are:

  • OOH Marketing: Out of Home marketing: Incorporating innovative signage would draw attention to property and spread awareness regarding its development. This Above the Line marketing technique can be very effective in metropolitan cities.
  • Drone Timeline Video: Most of the long-spanned projects prepare a timeline video demonstrating the progress in development. This could be well captured by drone imagery in the current times.
  • AR/VR Site Visits: Due to disruption in business travel by Covid-19, meetings have turned to virtual mediums. Similarly, in the case of CRE, the decision-making touchpoint i.e. site visits would have to be turned virtual for the ease of clients. AR/VR technology in today’s world can be leveraged to provide a seamless experience for site visits.
  • Website: The website needs to be regularly updated with well-put information regarding the project. Also, any press releases that go should be updated on the website timely.
  • Search Engine Optimization: CRE is a very scattered industry. Even when one searches for a property they are flooded with the broker’s site and not the actual developer’s site. Hence, working on the SEO of the website is very important to increase visibility among the client’s not present in the region or foreign clients.
  • Press Releases: Regular press releases about the project, any distinguished development, sealed deals with prominent clients, etc. should keep going out.
  • International and Domestic Property Consultants: These are some of the most crucial catalysts for marketing our projects. These are the touchpoints for a lot of clients and helps in bringing a trust factor. Collaborating with IPC’s will not help build trust among prospective clients but also increase visibility worldwide. Some of the famous IPC’s are JLL, Cushman and Wakefield, etc.

These are certain hygiene tools and mediums every CRE project needs to take upon to fulfill their marketing funnel throughout.
